Official Rules for Lehigh Valley Public Media’s Book Nook Sweepstakes

1. Eligibility

• The giveaway is open to legal residents of the state of Pennsylvania who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
• Employees of LVPM, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Instructions

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• Participants must submit the form at the page Sweepstakes Form, to be entered into the drawing.
• The entry period begins on December 30th, 2024 at 12:00 PM ET to January 2nd at 11 PM ET Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

3. Prize Details

• Prize includes 12 brand new books for children.
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or other alternatives, except at the sole discretion of LVPM.

4. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the entry period.
• Winners will be notified via email within five days of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within seven days of the email notice, an alternate winner may be selected.

5. Taxes and Fees

• Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with the prize. A 1099 form will be issued for prizes valued over $600, as required by law.

6. General Conditions

• By entering the giveaway, participants agree to release LVPM and its affiliates from any liability associated with the contest or the use of the prize.
• LVPM reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if it cannot be conducted as planned due to technical issues, fraud, or any other unforeseen
circumstances.

7. Governing Law

• This contest is governed by the laws of the state of Pennsylvania. By entering, participants consent to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
